PDEA agents seize P6.8M worth of 'shabu' in Cavite drug bust


Anti-narcotics authorities have seized an estimated P6.8 million worth of suspected shabu in a police operation in Bacoor, Cavite.

Citing police information, "Balitanhali" reported Friday that Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives nabbed main target of the operation Ato Labing Kasim in a buy-bust operation at a mall in Bacoor City.

Authorities recovered from the suspect a kilo of high-grade shabu inside a tea bag, with an estimated street value of P6.8 million.

Also arrested was the suspect’s driver identified as Jubaire Mohammad Kitab.

PDEA agents, according of James Agustin, said the suspect used high-end vehicles for his illegal transactions in several areas, including Metro Manila, Mindanao, and Tacloban.

They also discovered that Ato Labing Kasim was connected to a drug lord on the narco-list of President Rodrigo Duterte. —LBG, GMA News
