Two barangays in Puerto Princesa, Palawan have a dengue outbreak, according to a report on GMA News TV's Balitanghali on Sunday.
In the first six months of the year, 65 dengue cases were recorded in Barangay Buenavista, according to the City Health Office.
No cases of dengue were reported in the barangay last year.
Meanwhile, in Barangay Cabayugan, there were 16 dengue cases in the first six months of this year.
Only one case of dengue was reported in the said barangay last year.
More than 300 cases of dengue were reported city-wide this year from January to June.
This number, however, is lower than the total number of dengue cases in the same period last year in the city. —KG, GMA News
