Taal Volcano evacuee dies at evacuation center in Batangas

A Taal evacuee suffered a "sudden cardiac death" while at an evacuation center in Batangas on Saturday.

Super Radyo dzBB's Allan Gatus identified the victim as Felina de Roxas, 57,  a resident of San Nicolas, Batangas.

San Pascual medical health officer Dr. Rosalina Caraan was quoted as saying that De Roxas was doing the laundry at the San Antonio Elementary School evacuation center when the victim experienced difficulty in breathing.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital but she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Doctors said the cause De Roxas' death was "sudden cardiac death." 

She had hypertension and asthma conditions. —LBG, GMA News
