4 killed, 2 injured in Negros Occidental car crash

Four people were killed while two other victims were injured in a car crash in Negros Occidental after a motorist reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel.

The entire left side of the motorist's vehicle was completely destroyed after it crashed into a motorcycle and a gate of a home in the municipality of Manapla, Katrina Son reported on Sunday for 24 Oras Weekend.

The fatalities were identified as Angeles Salmorin, Dolores Granada, Delina Abana, and Jeljuridi Labrado.

Police suspected that the motorist, Froilan Samillano, fell asleep at the wheel.

Samillano claimed that he did not see the parked motorcycle because it was dark.
