Santa Rosa confirms 2nd COVID-19 case

The City Government of Santa Rosa, Laguna on Saturday confirmed its second case of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

According to an advisory, the second case was a resident of a subdivision in Barangay Macabling.

Due to this, Mayor Arlene Arcillas doubled-down on the strict implementation of home quarantines in all of the city's barangays.

The local government, however, also assured that contact tracing for individuals who may have been exposed to the patient was on-going.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 307. — Joahna Lei Casilao/DVM, GMA News
