Naga residents ‘commute’ via kariton amid quarantine

Some residents of Naga City in Camarines Sur had to resort to creative means of transport since public transit was shut down due to the quarantine.

In a 24 Oras report on Monday, three women were seen aboard a wooden pushcart being maneuvered by another male resident.

The ladies had to “commute” through the use of the “kariton” since no other means of transportation was available.

The three women were allowed to pass through the checkpoint since they all came with their quarantine pass. -- Julia Mari Ornedo/BAP, GMA News
