Fallen tree causes brownout in some Benguet, Pangasinan areas

Many areas in Pangasinan and Benguet provinces, including Baguio City and Tuba, had no electricity after a tree fell on cables and damaged nearby electric posts, according to an Unang Balita report on Friday.

The affected areas were being serviced by BENECO or Benguet Electric Cooperative.

Citing BENECO, the report said it would take a while for power supply to be restored in the affected areas as the damaged posts need to be replaced. --KBK, GMA News
