Barangay Talampas in Bustos, Bulacan under hard lockdown until May 25

Local authorities in Bustos, Bulacan placed Barangay Talampas under total/hard lockdown starting Friday, May 22.

The lockdown began at 5 p.m. of May 22 and will be in effect until 11:59 p.m. of Monday, May 25, under Resolution No. 1 of the Local Inter-Agency Task Force.

Authorities ordered the lockdown after one confirmed COVID-19 case was reported in the barangay.

With the lockdown, authorities will be able to conduct thorough contact tracing and swab testing on those who had close contact with the COVID-19 patient.

Residents will be given food packs during the hard lockdown, authorities said.

Bulacan is one of the areas under modified enhanced community quarantine until May 31. —KG, GMA News
