Bus carrying LSIs in mishap in Samar, no casualties, say police

The 21 passengers and two drivers of a bus ferrying locally stranded individuals were safe after an accident in Sta. Rita, Samar early Monday morning.

According to the Samar Police Provincial Office, a Partas bus swerved to the opposite side of Maharlika Highway in Sitio Cantaba, Barangay Caticugan upon reaching a curved portion of the road at 3 a.m..

This incident damaged a residential house and dragged wires of a telecommunications company, police said.

Samar police chief Police Colonel Andre Dizon said the passengers were accommodated by another bus.

Investigation is still ongoing as regards the incident.—AOL, GMA News
