Suspect in Jang Lucero slay freed after prosecutor finds evidence lacking

The Calamba City prosecutors office has dismissed the complaint for murder filed against Annshiela Belarmmino in connection with the stabbing to death of Jang Lucero, the part-time driver who was found dead in her car last week.

According to John Consulta's report on "24 Oras", Belarmino was freed on Thursday on order of the city prosecutor, who found the evidence presented against her by the police insufficient.

Belarmino, an ex-girlfriend of Lucero's partner, has told GMA News that she was innocent of the accusations against her.

She even showed her hands which she said were clear of any evidence that she committed any crime.

Lucero was found dead last week, stabbed over 50 times. -NB, GMA News
