Operations at the Cotabato Regional Medical Center has been limited and the establishment will be placed under one-week lockdown following the isolation of 92 of its medical workers for a 14-day quarantine for having been exposed to a boy who died from COVID-19.

"Unang Balita" reported Wednesday that all the 92 affected medical workers at the CRMC have already undergone swab test.

According to the report, the boy who had been confirmed COVID-positive, had died at the CRMC.

At the moment,  the CRMC only accepts critical patients. Its management is planning to place the hospital under a 1-week lockdown to give way for decontamination and disinfection processes.

At present, the CRMC is taking care of 14 COVID-19 cases, 11 eleven suspected infections, the report said, adding that the Cotabato Regional Health Office is doing contact-tracing  activities.  —LBG, GMA News
