6 treasure hunters missing in Surigao del Sur

Six treasure hunters were reported missing after the tunnel they were working on in Marihatag town in Surigao del Sur collapsed, according to a report on Saksi on Wednesday.

One of their companions, however, survived the incident.

Based on the initial investigation on the incident, incessant rains may have soaked the area that led to the collapse of the tunnel.

A search and rescue operation is ongoing for the missing treasure hunters. -- BAP, GMA News
