BFAR investigates 'red sea' off Ozamiz City

An investigation by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is underway to determine the reason the sea off Ozamiz City has turned red, according to a report on Saksi on Monday.

The residents complain of the foul odor emanating from the seawaters.

At least four barangays are affected by the phenomenon.

The BFAR already collected water samples as part of the investigation.
