4 armed men killed in Pampanga shootout, police say

Cops killed four armed men in a shootout in San Fernando City,  Pampanga in Central Luzon, according to the police.

GMA News' "Unang Balita" reported Friday that the incident took place at the boundary of Barangays Calulut and Malpatic.

Police said they earlier received an information about armed men in a red car.

When authorities caught up with the target car, the men opened fire at the cops, sparking an exchange of fire that left four dead, the police claimed.

Two people in the red car managed to escape, the cops said, adding that a number of firearms were recovered from the scene. —LBG, GMA News
