Continuous rain causes landslides, floods in Mindanao areas

Continuous rains brought by localized thunderstorms caused a landslide in Davao City on Friday, according to a Saturday report on “24 Oras Weekend.”

The landslide caused a road to be temporarily closed to motorists.

However, even after the road had been cleared, residents had trouble traveling on it due to the thick mud.

Meanwhile, some areas were flooded in Kidapawan City due to heavy rain.

Several rivers also overflowed.

Despite this, no residents were evacuated.
