Grade 10 student dies of alleged hazing

A Grade 10 student died in an alleged hazing incident in San Enrique, Negros Occidental, a report from GTV's "State of the Nation" showed Tuesday.

On Sept. 4, the victim went to his friends for a drinking session after he celebrated his 18th birthday. After this, the victim suffered from body ache.

After several days of feeling unwell, the victim succumbed to his injuries.

Parents said the victim joined a fraternity in March but did not undergo his initiation rites because he is still a minor.

Police already identified the three suspects linked to the crime but they denied involvement. —LDF, GMA News
