Nine killed as van crashes into Cagayan house

Nine individuals — including an infant — were killed over the weekend in Lal-lo, Cagayan when a passenger van crashed into a house.

Initial reports on the incident indicate that the van crashed into the house and a garage past 9 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, according to a report on GMA’s “24 Oras Weekend” on Sunday.

The van — driven by a soldier identified as Dan Vincent Domingo — also collided with a tricycle and an SUV parked in the area. Two were injured in these crashes.

Authorities are looking into the possibility that the driver improperly calculated the curve in the area, causing the crash. He will be facing multiple cases.
