2 real estate agents missing for 2 months; families seek gov't help

The families of two real estate agents who went missing in December asked the government to help them find their loved ones.

According to Emil Sumangil's report on "24 Oras" on Monday, Paul John Ferolino, 33 and Rodelio Larena, 30, have been missing for over two months.

According to family members, the two were in Batangas to meet a client.

"Mayroon siyang kausap na client na nandoon sa area tapos potential client doon sa mga units na binibenta nila so nagpunta sila doon," Ralph Larena, Rodelio's brother, said.

(He was speaking with a client in the area, a potential client for the units they are selling. So they went there.)

On December 14, authorities found their abandoned vehicles at the Taal-Lemery junction with no dash cams.

"Maayos 'yong sasakyan, malinis. 'Yong mga gamit, maayos na nakalagay sa sasakyan," Ralph said.

(The vehicle was in good order, tidy. The belongings were in the vehicle, everything was neat.)

Both families filed reports with the Philippine National Police. They were also planning to get help from the National Bureau of Investigation.

"Mahirap, 'yong papa ko pabalik-balik ng Manila to follow-up pero wala silang magawa," Shilo Ferolino, Paul's sister, said.

(It's a difficult situation. My dad travels back and forth to Manila to follow up on the matter. But there's nothing they can do.)
