White envelopes containing P500 each were caught on camera being distributed outside the governor's residence in Nueva Ecija after a campaign rally of presidential candidate former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
The Partido Federal ng Pilipinas said it abhorred the distribution of cash among supporters after GMA News caught on video the envelopes changing hands.
"Partido Federal ng Pilipinas is a disciplined political party! We abhor such action! That is not a policy in our core values and principles," said Gen. Thompson Lantion (ret.) secretary general Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, in a statement.
According to Sandra Aguinaldo's report on "24 Oras", those who received the envelopes said they didn't know what they were for.
Marcos' sortie in the province ended with another rally in Talavera town, where supporters chanted, "Hindi kami bayad!" —NB, GMA News
