Cotabato mayor files disqualification case vs. rival

Cotabato mayor Frances Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi filed a disqualification case against her rival due to alleged vote buying in the province, according to “24 Oras” report on Thursday.

Guiani-Sayadi’s lawyer said they have proof that her rival Mohammad Ali Dela Cruz Matabalao is allegedly into vote buying among the residents in the province.

They said that their camp has videos and affidavits as proof that Matabalao used rice aid and gave P1,000 per individual in exchange for their votes on election day.
