Climate Change Commission wants solution to Masantol, Pampanga flooding

The Climate Change Commission (CCC) wants a solution to the flooding in Masantol, Pampanga.

The CCC recently went to Masantol and discovered that the area is flooded even if it has not rained, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Tuesday.

The flooding is reportedly due to climate change as well as high tide and release of water from a dam.

The CCC said it is preparing the programs it will propose to undertake under the next administration, and the Masantol flood solution is one of its priorities. —KG, GMA News
