Bulusan Volcano spews thick ash during phreatic eruption

A thick, dark lump of ash shooting up in the air  and drifting away from Mount Bulusan can be seen from a nearby area when the volcano had a phreatic explosion on Sunday morning.

The video was taken by a YouScooper and shared it to GMA News.

On Sunday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said that Bulusan Volcano in Sorsogon had a phreatic eruption. 

PHIVOLCS raised the alert status of the volcano from 0 (normal) to Alert Level 1 (low-level unrest). —LBG, GMA News
