Magnitude 5.1 quake jolts Davao Oriental

A magnitude 5.1 earthquake hit off the coast of Tarragona, Davao Oriental early Wednesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.
The quake that struck at 4:37 a.m., with a depth of 63 kilometers was tectonic in origin.
No damages are expected but aftershocks may occur, the agency reported. -- BAP, GMA News
