Two alleged members of a gun-for-hire group were arrested for killing a man in Alfonso, Cavite for P20,000.

The suspects, Eric Tanega and Edwin Montaño, tried to escape aboard a motorcycle but they were traced by authorities in the municipality of Naic.

Police said the seized a .357 magnum revolver and a Glock pistol from the suspects matched the shells collected from the crime scene.

(They will be given an envelope containing the description of their victim, the address and the money. They will study it for a few days, they will have a spotter who will case the area. They will have a motorcycle driver and a gunman. They will be paid P20,000.)

The victim’s wife positively identified the one of the suspects.  She said her husband tried to hide in their kitchen where he was shot

According to the local police, a land dispute was the possible cause of the incident.

Authorities have filed charges against the suspects and are still on the looklut for the alleged mastermind of the crime identified to be one of Barrera’s relatives.

The arrested suspects denied the accusations against them.

(Their accusations are false. I don’t know anything about that.)
