Baguio offering ‘ho-ho’ buses for tourists going around in city

Baguio City is offering hop-on, hop-off, or “hoho” buses for tourists visiting the country’s Summer Capital on weekends.

According to a report on “24 Oras”, the local government is looking at the system as a way to reduce traffic congestion in the city.

Tourists with private cars are to park their vehicles at designated parking areas and will be asked to register at the city tourism for their bus passes.

The “ho-ho” bus will load passengers at the Baguio City Convention Center and will tour around the Botanical Garden, Mansion House, Wright Park, Mines View Park, and Session Road.

The service, which is slated to run for a month, will be open from Fridays to Sundays with its first trip scheduled at 8:30 AM and its last trip at 4:30 PM. —Sundy Locus/NB, GMA News
