Magnitude 5.0 quake shakes Burgos, Surigao del Norte

A magnitude 5.0 earthquake hits off the shore of Burgos, Surigao del Norte early Tuesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.
The quake occurred at 2:14 a.m. northeast of Burgos town with a depth of 49 kilometers and tectonic in origin.
The agency said there are no damage reports related to the quake but aftershocks are expected. -- BAP, GMA News
