Experts determine what animal laid huge egg in Tabogon

Experts have gone to Tabogon town in Cebu to determine what animal laid the huge egg that had residents wondering from where it came.

According to “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” resident Winefredo Singuran shared that he saw the egg which was as big as a child's head after hearing something fall from a tree when he was fixing a water line.

When he went to check out the fallen object, he saw the egg that weighed more than a kilo.

Singuran said he did not see any animal or bird from the said tree, as well as a person in the area during that time.

Since no one is raising and taking care of ostriches in their community, the residents dismissed the possibility that it might be an egg of an ostrich.

The residents made their own speculations in which some thought that it might be a dinosaur egg or it came from an alien.

Some believed that the egg might give good luck, which made them want to see and touch it.

Experts have examined the giant egg to find out what animal it may have come from.

They said that it did not come from a reptile such as crocodile or snake because the shape of the egg is different from those eggs.

The egg was also placed in the water to determine if it is alive or broken.
