Dead woman found inside a private compound in Baguio City

A lifeless body of a woman was found in a compound in Trancoville in Baguio City.

According to Joan Ponsoy's report on GMA Regional TV "Balitang Amianan" on Wednesday, the police identified the victim as Juliet Bajar Hesim because of her tattoo.

"Nakita nila 'yung isang female, wala siyang lower garment tapos ‘yung mouth niya naka-tape, yung kamay niya nakatali rin ng tape. Mayroong belt sa kaniyang leeg," said Police Captain Marnie Abellanida, PIO- Police Regional Office, Cordillera.

(They found the remains of a female, with no lower garment and with her mouth taped and her hands were also taped. There is a belt around her neck.)

The Police Regional Office Cordillera condemned the incident and that they will make sure that a thorough investigation will be conducted.

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong also condemned the incident and believed the police could solve the crime.

Magalong believed that the incident is an isolated case.

"We're currently reviewing CCTVs, hindi lang doon sa area, pati doon sa malalapit na lugar doon sa area na 'yun,” said Capt. Abellanida.
