1,000 families in Bulacan receive aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation after Karding floods

One thousand families in San Miguel, Bulacan received aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation following the onslaught of super typhoon Karding.

According to a report on "24 Oras," Friday, flood water reached the second floor of houses in some areas.

Others, like the home of Marites Punzalan and her family, are still submerged in knee-deep water until now.

"Mahangin ho, hindi natin alam 'yung mangyayari sa buhay natin, s'yempre 'yung kaba, 'yung ano sa pamilya, hindi mo alam kung mabubuhay ka pa," Marites described their experience during the typhoon.

"Sa awa naman ng Diyos lahat kami rito ng mga kapitbahay namin, pamilya namin, wala namang nasaktan," she added.

To help the affected residents, the GMA Kapuso Foundation distributed relief goods and vitamins to 1,000 families in Barangay Mandile and Barangay Bagong Silang under the Operation Bayanihan.

The GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
