Candy land Christmas Village opens in Tabaco City

A city in Albay province transformed into a “candy land” to bring holiday cheer to its residents in time for the Yuletide Season.

According to Tina Panganiban-Perez’s report on “24 Oras,” the candy-themed Christmas Village was unveiled in Tabaco City on Friday. Various decorations filled the attraction including a giant Christmas Tree, Nativity of Jesus and a sculpture of Santa Claus.

“Ang Christmas ay para sa bata pero hindi lang to sa bata sa edad, kundi bata sa puso,” said Mayor Krisel Lagman-Luistro.

Stunning decorations sprung up in various areas in the country including Lucena City in Quezon where a Christmas-themed 3D mapping was projected into the provincial capitol’s main building and Lucban town where a massive Christmas Tree and tunnel of lights may be visited.
