Christmas visitors in Baguio to peak at 200K

The Baguio City government is gearing up for the expected influx of tourists in the city during the holiday season, Jasmin Gabriel-Galban reported on "24 Oras" on Tuesday.

Christmas decorations now adorn various tourist destinations in the city including the Botanical Garden and Session Road where a giant Christmas Tree was installed.

Baguio City tourism officer Aloysius Mapalo said they are expecting around 150,000 to 200,000 visitors in the City of Pines.

"The definite number will be 110,000. It will increase by 50% more so it can be 150 to 200,00 per month," said Mapalo.
