Viral ice candy vendor in Leyte with 'Harry Potter' accent hopes to go back to school

An ice candy vendor in Maasin City, Southern Leyte has caught the attention of the public for his sales pitch using a British accent, according to a report on "State of the Nation" on Wednesday.

"By the way, sir, I got a product in here and I am just hoping you gonna like this. So, I'm gonna sell this to you," said Jomar Villamor, in a very convincing British accent, as shown in the video of Glynis Mark.

"Well, sir, would you want to buy one piece of my product? I just want it to add for my allowance," he added.

According to the report, Villamor learned the accent from watching the "Harry Potter" movie series.

A former teacher shared that although Jomar stopped going to school, the young man is intelligent and street smart.

Jomar hoped that by selling ice candy he can help his parents financially and eventually go back to school. -- BAP, GMA Integrated News
