Fire hits industrial warehouse in Cainta; no casualties

A fire broke out at an industrial warehouse in Cainta, Rizal, on Thursday morning, Unang Balita reported.

The fire started at 3 a.m. and reached the third alarm, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Twelve firetrucks responded and the fire was put under control by 4:31 a.m.

The warehouse was said to be filled with musical instruments and was located at the boundary of Cainta and Pasig cities.

Due to the impact of the fire, the foundation and walls of the warehouse sustained damage

The lack of water supply in the area, meanwhile, posed a challenge to the firemen.

"So far ngayon na-confine agad ang area, maluwag space natin at lahat ng firetruck nakapasok," said BFP Pasig Fire Superintendent Jerry Magalang.
