Dismembered body parts of a woman found in Antipolo

The police are investigating the death of a woman who was found dismembered in Antipolo, according to the report of Jamie Santos on "Saksi" Friday.

Before noontime on Friday, a scavenger found different parts of a body near the bridge in Barangay Dela Paz, Antipolo.

This was immediately reported to the barangay and the police.

The victim has been identified by relatives as Lanie Cabanet Loreto.

Last June 7, she asked her live-in partner to accompany her to Cogeo to meet someone known only as "Ate" near a mall and failed to go home.

By 5 p.m., the police received information that a torso was found in Sitio Calumpang Boso-boso.

The police has confirmed that the body parts found in different sites in Antipolo belong to one person.

The police will be investigating different angles to determine the motive of the killing and identity of the killer.
