70-year-old employer admits killing helper in Davao City

The 70-year-old woman who allegedly killed her household helper in Davao City has reportedly admitted committing the crime.

According to Jandi Esteban's report on GMA Regional TV "One Mindanao," the suspect Nenita Pagatpatan confessed to killing her helper Shiela Lagsaway in Barangay Cabantian on June 18.

Investigation showed that the suspect hit the victim on the head with a piece of wood.

Pagatpatan was earlier seen on CCTV footage weeks ago pulling a trolley covered with canvass on the street.

Lagsaway's body was later found  several meters away from the suspect's home.

The crime reportedly happened after the suspect scolded the victim. —Jiselle Casucian/NB, GMA Integrated News
