One dead, 11 others hospitalized over suspected lechon poisoning

One person was killed while 11 others were brought to the hospital in Cebu.

According to Joseph Morong's report on "State of the Nation," the suspected cause of the apparent food-poisoning was the lechon they shared in a get-together.

After dinner, those who ate the lechon had stomach ache, vomited, and had diarrhea.

The body of the fatality was scheduled to be autopsied to determine if the lechon was the cause of death. —NB, GMA Integrated News
