College dean dead, several injured in Tarlac bus accident

A college dean died in a bus accident that occurred along the Tarlac-Pangasinan Expressway (TPLEX), according the report of Ian Cruz on "State of the Nation" Monday.

In the report from GMA Regional TV's "One North Central Luzon," the bus was plying TPLEX, which is part of Pura in Tarlac, came from Abra and was on its way to Manila when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The dean of a college in Bangued died while several passengers, that were mostly Nursing students, were injured.

The bus company will extend assistance to the family of the fatality and the injured passengers.

The driver, who has not issued a statement, is in police custody.  — BAP, GMA Integrated News
