Subic-Clark segment of SCTex open until April 9

MANILA, Philippines - The newly constructed Subic-Clark segment of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac expressway (SCTex) will be open until April 9. In a statement, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority or BCDA said that the segment will be opened from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from April 6 to 9. SCTex program director Robert Gergacio said that the 50.5-km segment can be used by Class 1 or light vehicles including chartered buses and motorcycles with an engine of displacement of 400 cc above. The entire 93.77-km SCTex is expected to inaugurated by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo by mide-April. - GMANews.TV
