Dolphy grandson nabbed over Laguna shooting

MANILA, Philippines - A grandson of ace comedian Rodolfo Quizon a.k.a. Dolphy was arrested in Laguna province Thursday for allegedly trying to shoot a man he crossed paths with. Radio dzBB reported early Friday that police identified the suspect as Roco Quizon, 26, whom police said faces separate charges for drug use. Quizon was accused of firing a handgun at one Jomar Panghanaan but missed. On the other hand, three of his companions in the incident eluded arrest and are now being tracked down. Police initially identified Quizon's companions as Richmond and Dolphy III. Investigators are still determining the motive for the shooting. A separate report on dzRH radio said the incident occurred at San Pablo Norte village in Sta. Cruz, Laguna at noon Thursday. - GMANews.TV
