Policeman dead after accidentally shooting himself

A policeman died in Bansalan, Davao del Sur after accidentally shooting himself.

According to a 24 Oras report on Tuesday, the Bansalan Municipal Station identified the victim as Patrolman Jhaniel Salip Pepito, who was at home when the incident occurred.

His mother saw him cleaning the gun, then later heard the gunshot. Pepito was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. — Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/BM, GMA Integrated News
