Road closures during Panagbenga Festival 2024 parades


Several roads in Baguio City will be closed for the Panagbenga Festival 2024 Grand Opening and Ceremony, Street Dancing, and Floral Float Parade, the Baguio City Police Office - Traffic Enforcement unit said in a traffic advisory.

Several roads will be closed from 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 3, 24, and 25, 2024 for the grand opening, street dancing, and floral float parade. The areas affected include:

  • Panagbenga Park South Drive
  • Session Road (whole stretch)
  • Magsaysay Avenue
  • Harrison Road
  • Jose Abad Santos Drive
  • Lake Drive to Melvin Jones

Residents and visitors are urged to plan their routes accordingly during the festivities and follow traffic diversions.

KENNON-LOAKAN JUNCTION

Vehicles bound for La Trinidad may take Loakan Road-Camp John Hay-BCC to Teachers Camp-M. Roxas Road, or use Happy Hallow to Country Club Road.

Vehicles bound for Marcos Highway may take Camp 7 Monticello to Balacbac Circumferential Road, starting 5 a.m. until the parade ends.

NAGUILIAN ROAD

No vehicle is allowed to enter Lower Abanao Street to O-Shape intersection from 5 a.m. until the parade ends.

Vehicles bound for La Trinidad may take Lamtang Road, Tam-awan-Longlong Road, or Tacay-Guisad Road to Bokawkan and Lower Magsaysay Road.

Vehicles bound for Pacdal Rotunda may take Ferguson Road-Guisad Road-Bokawkan-Trancoville-Brookside-M. Roxas, and Leonard Wood Road.

PACDAL CIRCLE

Light vehicles bound for Marcos Highway may take Baguio Country Club Road-Camp John Hay to Loakan Road-Camp 7-Montecillo-Bakakeng Rd, then Balacbac Circumferential Road.

Vehicles from Pacdal and Itogon Area bound to Bokawkan, Naguilian Road, and La Trinidad may take Leonard Wood Road-Teacher's Camp-M-Roxas Road, and Trancoville Road as an alternate route starting 5 a.m. until the parade ends.

SLAUGHTER CONTROL POINT

No vehicle is allowed to enter Y Shape Center Mall starting 5 a.m. until the parade concludes.

Vehicles bound for the Central Business District may take Bonifacio Road or P. Burgos-Bokawkan Road as an alternate route. GMA Regional TV
