Baguio LGU suspends work starting 3 p.m. to allow staff celebrate Valentine's Day

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong suspended on Wednesday work in the city government to allow employees to celebrate Valentine’s Day with their loved ones.

In Memorandum No. 28 series of 2024, Magalong said the work in the Baguio City government will be suspended starting 3 p.m.

He said this is “to afford city employees much needed quality time with their families and loved ones this Valentine’s Day.

However, departments providing frontline service for peace and order, revenue collection, disaster risk reduction and management, CCTV and emergency 911 operations, sanitation, and health “shall  continue to report for work to ensure continuity of vital services to the public.”—AOL, GMA Integrated News
