Man in Davao Oriental arrested for beating up his own mother

A 33-year-old man was arrested in Davao Oriental for beating up his own mother, according to GMA Regional TV One Mindanao's report on "State of the Nation."

A video footage shows the suspect repeatedly hitting a woman. The children can be seen crying as they tried, in vain, to stop him.

According to the police, the mother and her son had a feud for a while that stemmed from an issue relative to the latter's live-in partner.

The suspect was eventually arrested and charges have been filed. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
