Household helper facing qualified theft rap in Bacoor

The authorities are now looking for a woman who applied to become a household helper but who took the cash of her employer's children.

According to Emil Sumangil's report on "24 Oras," CCTV showed the suspect sweeping the floor before checking out a bag and its contents.

“Pagdating niya dito, nagsipag-sipagan muna siya. Hindi ko pala alam na yung sipag-sipagan niya, yung kamay niya, gumagalaw na din sa ibang bagay,” the employer said.

The employer said her children lost their money to the suspect.

She immediately reported the suspect to the Philippine National Police in Bacoor. She filed a charge of qualified theft against the her.

The helper has since left the house.

It was also discovered that two more victims complained about their hired maids online. It has yet to be found if they are the same person. —Sherylin Untalan/NB, GMA Integrated News
