Boyfriend confesses to crime after 16-year-old found dead in Tanauan

A 16-year-old girl was found dead at a vacant lot in Tanauan City, Batangas.

According to a report on "Saksi" by Denise Abante of GMA Regional TV Balitang Southern Tagalog, the victim’s family last saw her when she left to meet someone in Tanauan City.

She didn't return.

Her 21-year-old boyfriend helped in finding her but he eventually confessed to the crime.

The victim sustained a stab wound to the neck and was found without her underwear.

According to the suspect, he committed the crime because the victim wanted to break up with him.
