Businessman found dead, robbed of P500k in Cebu

A businessman was found dead and robbed at the side of the road in Barangay Kanyuko in Dumanjug, Cebu on Thursday morning.

According to a "Saksi" report by GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak's Fe Marie Dumaboc on Thursday, police investigation showed that the 51-year-old victim carried about P500,000 in cash and was on his way to Barangay Mantalongon in the town of Barili to buy livestock but never returned.

The victim's 24-year-old child said the victim did not reach his destination. A search was conducted and the victim was found lifeless in Dumanjug, Cebu.

His motorcycle was also found near the scene of the crime.
