Guard in Camarines Norte promoted for returning bag with P1M

A security guard from Daet, Camarines Norte who returned a bag containing P1 million to its rightful owner was promoted to regular employee.

The guard, Salvador Mirandilla, found the bag reportedly left behind by a fellow passenger on a bus headed to Daet, Camarines Norte from Manila.

Mirandilla worked as a job order security guard at the Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital.

In recognition of his integrity, Governor Ricarte Padilla rewarded Mirandilla by promoting him to a regular employee of the provincial government.

The governor hopes Mirandilla's exemplary behavior will inspire other residents of the province.— GMA Regional TV News
