17 people fall ill in chemical leak from junk shop in Laguna

At least 17 people were hospitalized after they were exposed to a chemical leak from a junk shop in Cabuyao City, Laguna, according to a report on "State of the Nation."

According to the police, the employees of the junk shop felt dizzy and complained of difficulty in breathing. The chemical is suspected to be chlorine based that leaked out of a metal container.
