Magnitude 5.1 earthquake jolts Davao Occidental town

A magnitude 5.1 earthquake hit Jose Abad Santos in Davao Occidental on Friday morning, Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said.
The monitoring agency said the earthquake of tectonic origin struck the town at 8:16 a.m. and had a depth of 87 kilometers.
PHIVOLCS said no damage was expected but aftershocks are likely.
The earthquake was felt in the following instrumental intensities:
