18-ft crocodile found in Tawi-Tawi shore

An 18-feet crocodile was captured by residents off the coast of Languyan, Tawi-Tawi.

The crocodile was sighted along the shore of Barangay Kiniktal, based on an Unang Balita report on Wednesday.

The report said the reptile was observed to be moving slowly because of its size and weight.

Authorities are now coordinating with the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Energy in Tawi-Tawi to turn over the crocodile, the same report said. — Giselle Ombay/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
